MATER VITAE: Pregnancy Crisis Centre

Mater Vitae is situated in Treasure Beach on the Bluff, in Durban. It is a pregnancy crisis/abuse Centre with accommodation for 8 ladies. The nun in charge is Sister Lethiwe.

MATER DEI: Skills Development Centre

Mater Dei is situated in Sydenham Durban. It is a skills development centre where ladies who have had their babies or who are from an abused situation can learn skills which will enable them to earn a living and support themselves. Mater Dei is run by Sister Winnifred.

MATER CONSOLANS: AIDS home and clinic

Mater Consolans is an AIDS Hospice and clinic, which is situated at Inchanga KwaZulu-Natal.
It has 20 beds. The sister in charge is Sister Theresa.

MATER AFRICAE: Pregnancy Crisis & Abuse Centre

Mater Africae is an abuse and crisis centre situated at Inchanga KwaZulu-Natal. It is also a refuge where we can send clients who are still in danger from those who have abused them in the past.
Sister Amanda manages Mater Africae.

MATER CHRISTI: Children's/Women's AIDS Home

Mater Christi operates as an AIDS hospice at Inanda KwaZulu-Natal. It has facilities for some 27 patients. It is also a centre for home based care and home based care training. In addition, day-care facilities are provided on the property and in neighbouring areas for 250 children who are infected with or affected by AIDS or who suffer extreme poverty. The children are cared for and fed during the day, and return home at night. Sister Florenzia is in charge.

Mater Populi is an AIDS hospice at Wentworth in Durban. The person in charge is Sibongile Shezi.

Mater Spei is situated at Inchanga. It is a day care centre for 50 children who are infected with or are affected by AIDS or who suffer from poverty. The person in charge is Sister Amanda.
