24 HOUR CRISIS HELP LINE

We give assistance through the 24-hour crisis help line service.

The counselling service serves not only the residents of the Mater Homes but also the general public.
Advertising is in the English and Zulu newspapers, a 24-hour telephone service is operational. The telephone is manned by a Right to Live Campaign volunteer who helps callers or refers them to appropriate crisis organisations for help.

Assistance given includes cases of
marital problems, suicide, adoption, abortion, post abortion syndrome, abuse, medical queries, etc.
